Getting started
Property Grid keeps your properties, people, money and paperwork in one place. You can be working in a few minutes.
1. Sign up and choose what you do
Start from the sign-up page and pick the option that fits you: landlord, landlord company, letting agent, property manager or estate agent. That choice decides which free trial plan you start on and which parts of the system are switched on. You can change plan later from Plan & billing.
2. Follow the Getting started panel
The first thing you see is the home dashboard. A Getting started panel lists the first few jobs for your kind of business, such as adding a property, adding a landlord or tenant, and setting up your sending address for email. Each step links to the right screen.
3. Bring your existing records in
If you already keep a spreadsheet, use Imports. Download the template for what you are importing (properties, landlords, tenants and so on), fill it in, and upload it. The import checks every row first and tells you what needs fixing.
4. Invite your team
Add colleagues from Invitations. Each person gets a role that decides what they can see and do. See Team, roles and security.
5. Look around
The left-hand menu is grouped by job. The home dashboard shows what needs attention today: expiring certificates, overdue rent, repairs waiting, tasks due. Start there each morning.
Next: Properties and units.
