Privacy policy

This policy is a working draft while Property Grid is in development and will be finalised before launch.
Who we are
Cyber Investments LTD t/a Property Grid (company number 17510180), of 6 Hill Rise, Seaford, United Kingdom, BN25 2UA, operates Property Grid and is the controller of personal data collected through this website. ICO registration: ZC270114. Contact us using our contact form.
Website visitors and enquiries
If you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, optional company name, your message and your IP address (to prevent abuse). We use this to reply to you and to protect the site from spam. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and securing our site) or, where you ask about our services, steps prior to entering a contract.
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months unless a customer relationship follows.
Customer data held in Property Grid
When a landlord or letting agent uses Property Grid, they decide what personal data about their tenants, applicants, landlords and contractors is stored. For that data the customer is the controller and we act as their processor under a data processing agreement. If you are a tenant or landlord and have a question about your data, please contact your letting agent or landlord first.
If a customer switches on two-way texts, replies to their texts are stored in their inbox with the rest of that person's messages. Replies arrive through a number shared between customers, so we match each one to the customer that last texted that mobile and discard any we cannot match. A person who replies STOP is not texted again.
Cookies
This marketing website uses essential cookies needed for security and form protection. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.
If you arrive through one of our affiliates' links and you accept optional cookies in the banner, we also set a first-party cookie (pg_ref) that remembers which affiliate referred you for up to 60 days, so they can be credited if you sign up. It holds only the affiliate's code, not your details. If you choose "Essential only" it is not set, and nothing is counted or credited. Your choice is kept in a cookie (pg_cookie_consent) for 180 days; use "Cookie settings" in the footer to change it at any time.
Affiliates
If you join our affiliate scheme we keep your name, email address, an encrypted record of where to pay you, and figures about clicks, sign-ups and commission. We use these to run the scheme and pay you (performance of our agreement with you) and keep payment records for tax purposes. Customers you refer are not told who you are beyond what you share with them.
Sharing your data
We use trusted service providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy arrangement.
Our service providers (sub-processors)
These are the outside services that may handle personal data for us. Those marked "optional" are used only when a customer turns that feature on.
