Cancellation and refund policy
Last updated 25 October 2026
DRAFT: this policy is a working draft and will be reviewed by a solicitor before launch.
Free trial
You can try Property Grid before you pay. If you do not add a payment method, or you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from your billing page, or by contacting us.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Refunds
- Cooling-off. If you are a consumer (not buying for your business) you may cancel within 14 days of starting a paid subscription and ask for a refund, less a fair amount for the service you used in that time. Most customers buy for their business, so this right usually does not apply, but we give the same 14-day courtesy on a first payment.
- Our mistake. If we charge you wrongly, or the service is unavailable for a long period because of us, we will put it right with a refund or a credit.
- Otherwise. Fees for a period that has already started are not refunded when you cancel part-way through, and we do not refund add-ons, credits or messages already used.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method, normally within 10 working days.
Changing plan
If you move to a larger plan, the change starts straight away and we adjust the charge for the rest of the period. If you move to a smaller plan, it takes effect at the next renewal.
What happens to your data
- After you cancel, your account stays available to export from until your paid period ends, and for a short time afterwards.
- After that we delete or anonymise your organisation's personal data, except what the law requires us to keep (for example payment records). Backups are overwritten on our normal schedule.
- Ask us for a data export before you cancel if you need one. See our privacy policy for how long data is kept.
